As said many times in this forum, yes modifying the CPU will negate the ASUS warranty.
Don't forget to register for the 1 year accidental damage warranty.
Apparently they have a seal on the CPU to verify if it is changed. Also if you have to RMA many advise to remove any upgrade parts such as SSD, RAM, etc so I would think long and hard about a CPU upgrade.
    Not sure on ST warr.

well i got the square trade warranty. cost only 170 for 3 years including accident.. used a 25% OFF COUPON... so i guess if hits the fan, it may fall off the desk and go broke by accident

Asus uses a reverse MXM socket for their graphics cards so a replacement wont actually fit.

Attempts have been made to replace the GPU and failed so thus far it is not possible and is doubtful due to many factors that Asus have caused in the way in which they reverse engineer their cards. It is not worth upgrading to the 560M as it is just an overclocked 460M and as the Asus 560M is built in you can only test another 560M. No one will risk or make the effort to try, at least not as of yet and rightly so.

The 460M GTX is more than capable of handling games at the moment, not at maximum settings in all games but reasonably well.

Steam it, Peel it gently, pry it off you can attempt any way to get that sticker off but once it is broken there is no covering that up and a voided warranty is worthless so why risk it. For gaming the I5 handles itself well and is clocked higher than the I7 for duel core.

Sell the CPU you have and buy an SSD a much more worthy upgrade.
