So i was just taking notes in class, and my computer completely shut down, it wont turn on at all, reads the power cord being plugged in, but there no response to power button or the quick start button. Anyone know if the limited 12 month from asus will cover this?

    1) Try it again. Maybe it was thermal shutdown.
    2) Disconnect the AC and battery, and reconnect the AC only. Does it start up? If plugged in with battery attached, does the battery show it's charging or green?
    3) If it just died like that, it would be covered by warranty. Is it a Best Buy model?

This thread has gone way off the rails. Rep begging is not allowed, so I have deleted a number of posts. Glad the OP fixed the problem.
