so as i posted before my asus g73 keeps gsoding with almost any game the only game that it doesnt crash with is governor of poker 2 lool. anyway after a gsod happens my laptop freezes when entering in windows even when entering the password to enter or after pressing enter or after entering in the desktop it freezes after a bit. after some reboots it finally does work fine but sometimes when i play a video it freezes or gsod's or restarts or simply turns off.
also sometimes when playing starcraft2 it gsod's and when i try to turn on the laptop it just turns the light on and off and i have to wait like 2 to 5 minutes to turn it on again.

at those temps and configurations it might be hardware. I would restore back to fresh windows 7. If it still does it, then its RMA time.

Did you read either of these threads?
G73 GSOD Debug Thread & vBIOS Mod
GSOD Fixes and Resources
If you have a G73 prone to GSODs, you can't run 10.6 Cats. There is a ton of useful info in the threads to help you get more stable. Some laptops simply cannot run any ATI OEM driver due to a vBIOS/timings conflict. There is a vBIOS update coming out any day now that will fix this. In the mean time, you need to run ASUS 10.1 or follow the information in these threads to try to stabilize it yourself. Some people run a particular vBIOS from another laptop (very dangerous since you could brick your machine installing it). Some people overclock very slightly and get stable. Others revert to factory install and then update to ASUS 10.1 video driver. There are many people who can't run 10.6 and many threads about it.
Personally, if mine was GSODing at boot up or half as often as yours, I would have already RMAed it. If it were my laptop, I would restore to factory, upgrade to 10.1 and leave it there until the new vBIOS comes out. If you can't run Asus drivers on an Asus factory install, you need to RMA because your GPU is bad. You need to put that thing back to stock and do one thing at a time until you get stable or send it back. -
There are a number of answer in the forum for you. I you look, you'll find.
Also, I think you might have two problems (maybe more)
1) GSOD we are all waiting for a fix to be released today, watch the forum
2) lock ups: read this http://forum.notebookreview.com/asus-gaming-notebook-forum/510480-fix-random-win7-lockups.html
your temperatures don't look bad at all, but how are you measuring? If you read them after exiting a game, then they have already come down, are you monitoring and logging? -
Where did you purchase the G73? Call them or email them to see if they have a solution for you, anything from helping you with RMA, replacing your notebook or suggesting some solutions to the problem.
You an also wait for the new vBios works for you. -
the temperatures i posted were the current temps in desktop when playing my gpu reached the 90º mark quickly so i avoided playing also my cpu reaches the 92ºc when i am rendering something in maya

as you said reverting to asus stock vga drivers worked just fine the problem is that i can play but i cant work with those drivers when i try to start autodesk maya 2011 it says it cannot save, it only works with newer drivers. some people said disabling triple buffer would work but it is already disabled.
once again can anyone help me?
