ok so i finally got another hdmi cable, and I am trying to use an old polaroid TLA-01901c lcd tv as a second monitor to extend my desktop onto, and whenever i connect the hdmi cable to it from my computer, it defaults to 720p (which is a 16x9 ratio, while its native resolution is 1440x900, a 16x10 ratio)and everything gets stretched upward, and this i really annoying to me. long story short, how can i get it to display over hdmi at its native resolution. I'm messing around in the nvidia control panel now, but when i tried to make a custom resolution for it at 1440x900 it would say the mode isnt supported.

bump. anyone have any idea? theres a lot of options in the advanced area of creating your own resolution with nvidia control panel and i have a feeling maybe having all those some specific way would work.
