    Hi,
My G73 has this really annoying thing - whenever I press down on the left mouse and release it there is this loud CLICK noise. The same happens when I push down on the left palmrest but this problem does not occur on the right side of the touchpad button nor on the right palmrest.

Is this fixable by me? I've heard lots of nightmare RMA stories but I guess I'll have to give up my computer for a month if this is the case :(

I had this problem, actually. There's a fairly decent gap between the "skin" on the LH side of the trackpad and the internal structure. I solved the issue by [carefully] removing the screws on that corner of the notebook, prying up the skin, and sticking a folded piece of cardboard inside.
