hi guys, my asus g73 lcd display begans flickering with horizontal lines, and display sometimes warps..any idea what seems to be the problem with this one? Is it because it's a new driver version of my graphics card? But i installed that driver already a week ago and it just happened today? Any thoughts would be a great help..thanks..

Sounds like RMA to me. I doubt a driver would cause such issues all of a sudden after a week of use. Just to be sure, rollback your gpu driver to the one available on Asus website. Test it for a week, if the problem persists - 99% chance your screen is on it's way out.

I assume you are referring to a G73JH w/ the 5870 card, correct? Which VBIOS do you have?

Does the horizontal lines also appear in the BIOS or just in Windows?

Does it only happen when gaming?

try adjust the brightness and if flickering stops then it could be the bad inverter board.
