This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Just out of curiosity, is it possible to upgrade the G73SW to an I7-2720QM or I7-2820QM processor? I'm always looking for deals on parts and I want to know if I should keep an eye out for these processors in the future.

    Yup but if you get a chance to get a 2920XM for a good price it would be worth your while.
