Looking to pick up a g750, after some research these are the ones i am leaning towards:

    1) G750JW-DB71
    Asus G750JW-DB71-CA w/ Core i7-4700HQ, 12GB, 2x750GB, Blu-ray Combo, 17.3in FHD, GeForce GTX 765M, Win 8 64-bit at Memory Express
I can get this one price matched with one from xoticpc for $1357 (not including tax)

    2) G750JX-QS71
    Asus G750JX-QS71-CB w/ Core i7-4700HQ, 16GB, 1TB + 256G SSD, Blu-ray Combo, 17.3in FHD, GeForce 770M, Win 8 at Memory Express
    $1899 (not including tax)

Main games I will be playing are counterstrike go, starcraft 2, diablo 3, payday 2, dead rising.

Is it worth paying the extra ~$540 for the gtx 770, SSD, and some more ram?

Also, would you guys recommend getting extended warranty? Or is 1 year of asus warranty enough.

    Thanks!

    This G750JX sounds good too
    Asus ROG G750JX-TB71 Notebook - 4th Generation (Haswell) Intel Core i7-4700HQ 3.40GHz, 16GB DDR3, 750GB HDD, 3GB Nvidia GTX770M, Blu-Ray, 17.3 Full HD Display, Windows 8 64-bit, 1-Year Asus ADP at TigerDirect.com

It has 2x8GB Ram, which you can install another 2x8GB Ram. It also has blurry drive and especially GTX 770M. The only disadvantage is that it doesn't have 802.11AC wireless card.
If you'd like using SSD, you can buy a SSD separately, which is cheaper and faster than the stock SSD.

About extended warranty, it might be useful depends on your need. But you still have time to decide if you need to extend the warranty since Asus allows customer to extend the warranty within 1 year after you buy their laptop.

An SSD is always worth it! Working is sooooooo much more fluent and faster compared to stinky slow traditional laptop HDD. I would go for the 802.11AC wifi card, simply because that means it also supports the 5 GHz band (and you get easily twice as much speed with the right router on 802.11AC). I bought 3 years warranty with my G73Jh and used it to replace the fans after nearly 3 years.

If you can afford the 540 then the whole experience will be faster from general usage to gaming.
