LOL...thats funny I thought the same thing. I'd love to learn how to do that.
-

The curved things on the right and left are from Dark Glass +MOD+ Dark Glass for Rainmeter by ~VicK88 on deviantART -
hehe yeah i was searching for that curved sidebar
i will try to combine it with hud vision (rainmeter skin) -
-
haha
who said we are going to copy it
you are just giving ideas
actually all rainmeter skins all almost the same ...
anyway i am searching for the winamp so i can forward the song at some position (does it exist something like that?)
and i've had problems with the weather skin... it doesn't read my location
anyway instead of copying kurolionheart theme you can copy this one
http://th01.deviantart.net/fs70/PRE/f/2010/251/5/2/blackstreet_by_fezzan-d2ybhbz.jpg -
Very cool mite_jan. I like it. I'm going to play around with rainmeter and see what I can come up with. I like brightly colored stuff better for some reason. I am a big fan of Fallout and that is an awesome desktop.
-
then here you go man
BlackStreet Theme by ~Fezzan on deviantART
so that theme is with a couple of rainmeters skins
you need to find them and put some of them by your choice
i like it a little simplier with a taskbar
-
-
you've moded probably the color
have you met winamp seek in some of the skins(i miss that option)
nice theme btw but i don't know i prefer more clean desktop with some gadget or two or a sidebar like Kuro but she don't want me to copy it
-
Heh, I know that's the major thing people say seeing as its one of the most popular Rainmeter skins, but seriously, there were a boatload of tweaks to get it to my fancy.
See that little Net Resource monitor bottom right? That was custom made.
Analog clock top left, new core for the central interface, and alot of other little personalizations.

-
You can try something like rocketdock for the icons, then go from there. Here's a tutorial. Stupid youtube still not letting me set up an account...
YouTube - RocketDock Tutorial -
thanks man yeah i never tried icons for the dock
now is the time
btw i can do an account for you if it helps
-
Thanks for the offer but I don't think you'll be able to coz they're having a maintenance "We are currently performing site maintenance. Be cool - we'll be back 100% in a bit. "
Gona crash now. I'll upload it in the morning.
-
-
i want it like urs... i cant do it -.-
tired of it.. ill keep my normal desktop then... daym.
i also like mite_jan desktop...
im so noob at this...
-
You should read the Rainmeter manual so you can get a grasp of how it works.

I hate having too much going on with the desktop so I just use the rainmeter clock.
Temporarily I am using a GPU & CPU monitor widget just to see if i want to keep them or not.
I sort of like cpu load widget for encoding to see all the cpu cores used. The GPU one is sort of pointless though since I wont see it while gaming.
I like how the clock blends into the wallpaper well rather than looking like a HUD element.Last edited by a moderator: May 6, 2015 -
ok.. ill put time watching youtube vids... there's plenty of tut there.
-
I use the CPU and GPU widgets. I alt+tab out of the game every once in a while to see where the GPU temperature is. Mine is always good so I don't really worry about it. It's just nice to pop out and see what it is occasionally.Last edited by a moderator: May 6, 2015

use the msi afterburner osd for stats during games, that what i do..
-
what clock is that you're using?Last edited by a moderator: May 6, 2015

The only thing i use rainmeter for is my little right sidebar:

Just called SimpleClock
I found it on Deviant Art when looking through clocks. -
I see. I saw that desktop from the first page earlier and I was like... UHHH, I must have it xD
-
Credit for the wallpaper goes to someone here at this forum (feel free to chime in whom ever you areFrom Drop Box
)
The RainMeter is mostly Enigma with 2-3 elements of a few others while just browsing around.Last edited by a moderator: May 7, 2015 -
yeaah i like the ROG wallpaper
i am going to share some love with my collection of ROG wallpapers
fell free to download it (some of them are maybe smaller resolution but you can also set is as wallpaper)
Wallpapers.rar - 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download -
NICE! +1 to you sir, thanks for those
-
not a problem man
just about to explode from that rainmeter
i can't change my location on weather
anyone interested to help... i got the location code
EDIT: aaaaaaaa found it finally -
-
Who says you can't? The cool thing about Rainmeter is that practically everything is customizable, it just takes a little time in the ini file.
Anyway mine for today, pretty much finished with my Rainmeter so now it's just random wallpaper changes and small tweaks. Took a few months to finally get what I wanted, pretty happy with the final product.
Now to find even more nerdy things to do.
-
yeah just a "little time"
well you are aware that every ini is different
it is not so simple here with values like
w=
h=
and actually if i change the box somehow i believe the content size needs to be changed to
am i right? and that is not a little time
and btw Kuro aren't you bored with that look
althought looks sexy
-
Well it depends how efficient you are with Rainmeter. Looking at your pic, it's just a bunch of image files so resizing them and changing the X/Y values and the font size should do the job. But yeah the point was that it's doable. Also nope, I technically just finished my Rainmeter in the last 2 weeks so I'm still quite happy with it. I'll probably make my own theme for the next one.
-
why didn't they done it the easy way (at the corners resizable) so i have to go now the hard way
it's not just the font size Kuro
every icon is one code , every day is one code
lots of codes
if you want to take a look just tell me
p.s why i am unable to double click(install) rmskin files
View attachment Eco Weather.txt -
lol I'll pass at looking at it, I barely like to look at the mess I have. I know most of the stuff is a separate string, which is why I dislike Rainmeter but it still applies. I guess being completely customizable and easy to use don't go together.
Edit: Okay I took a quick glance at it, it's pretty much exactly what I thought it was. Without having the whole skin and knowing what exactly you're trying to do I can't exactly work some magic though. -
like i said i want that weather square to be the size like those two on top of it(smaller)
actually i can compare with those two (didn't remembered that)
i will upload calendar ini too
View attachment Eco Calendar.txt
EDIT: ahaaaaaaa that box i am talking about is in png file (that's why i couldn't find the dimensions value)
so i guess i should resize the ong picture and edit now the crap inside the box
-
Give me the whole skin or a link to it, I need everything.
-
WinCustomize: Explore : Rainmeter : Eco
here you go babe
just take a look if you are bored
if not leave it
my eyes are falling in front of the monitor -
Please guys am just starting with rainmeter.. You guys have awesome desktops.. Can someone save your theme and upload it here so that i can learn from it?
-
here is a new one guys and girls
(watch HD)
i am loving it parapapapa
YouTube - Windows 7 Theme
changed : taskbar + icons + cursor + dock + sidebar + video desktop
-
What happened to "I don't look at my desktop." lol
With Rainmeter 2.0, its possible to substitute the System Monitor gadget with the new CoreTemp functionalities.
-
yeah at first i dislike it but it is very usefull program and i like it and it doesn't use a lot memory at all nor CPU (okay with alot of stuffs i get sometimes 1% usage
)
the stupid thing is when some gadget is big and i want it smaller or opposite and to change it you will need to change a lot of codes(i hate that part)
p.s LOL at Ruckus -
The core temp bit is still buggy though. Gets like increasing CPU handles and doesn't stop cycling the whole time.
-
Could you check your CPU handles in task manager Ruckus? Is it constantly increasing?
Specifically because of the coretemp.dll additions.
@Kuro
Ooh, does that really reflect accurate GPU clocks? -
BumbleBoner in your picture that GPU and CPU monitoring gadget is from rainmeter ?
if yes can you tell me the name or link?
rainmeter
