Hi, is it possible to format 1 of the drives, with all the windows stuff on it but save some files on the other drive ? i noticed there was 2 drives in this laptop when i opened it up in the back ( g73jh ) my computer is literaly running 19 fps on low quality render in RIFT and i have no clue what else i can do. i dont want to repaste because i have no idea how to and the nearest asus certified partner shop is 6 hours drive away ( i dont own a car ) so would reformating my computer fix my graphic lag?

Throttling due to high temps isn't really much of a factor on ATI cards (what are your temps anyway?). That's more of an NVIDIA thing. You're better off removing your catalyst drivers and then reinstalling with new ones. You can definitely do what you're asking, move some files to the second drive and format the first one (or use F9 for recovery). I'm just not sure it's worth it. I wouldn't blast it away just yet...
