    hi all joined this site to get some info ..i have the ASUS G73JH..love this laptop now that ive update bios and new drivers ect from this website awsome....running ATI 10.4 ccc and stable.QUESTION is at most resolutions i cant get a full screen with the 17".3.. i have to use 1600x900 to get a full screen width ..blackshark empire total war. @ 1400x1050.... in fact most games..??? i want to to use any resolution i choose.. why wont this laptop use full width screen or stretch to is borders..when most laptops do .is there away of fixing this ..help ... :confused:

    Change your scaling options in your ATI CCC to your prefered method.

    No Stretch
    Aspect Stretch
    Stretch to fit

    Goes by different names in the CCC though. I always use Aspect because I do want to use my full screen but not actually distort the image in any way.

    cant see anything in ccc..say aspect stretch or anything like that ...thx for the reply

    MY game will crash if i update to 10.10..ccc...hence why went back to 10.4..not updated vbios yet as dont want to risk , a brick ..not unless vbios is all ok to update..thx for the reply

    vBios upgrade was so far stable for all, you can savely do it.
    And it's really needed.

    OPEn CCC desktops and displays- click the triangle and then configure. As long as you are not using native resolution you ail see the Scaling settings mentioned by ViciousXUSMC.

    yea you need to go to a resolution like 1440x900, then click ok to accept, then go to the display settings, on the laptop panel bit, there will be an option for scaling available.

    It's been fixed on the newer drivers, but if you wish to stick to older ones, this will allow it to work.
