    hi guys, i have a little problem here. last year i donated like 10 bucks to that japanese guy for setfsb, like a month ago my hdd just stopped working so i got another one.
    i asked him to send me proper versoin for my g73jh with i7 720 cpu and guy is not responding, so do i have to donate again? i dont think so
    i am asking you guys if anybody can send me setfsb on private or something like that. ill give you my email add.

    I believe RL got a bit much for him so he stopped work on the project (also newer machines are not much fun for this kind of stuff).

    But you still need a key to use that version.

    I am also having the same problem, I do not have return of support SetFSB

    Last year I also bought the activation key to effecting donate $ 10.

    however the key is no longer working.
    I have the same file I downloaded at the time, now more activation key does not work anymore. when I try to run the program, it states that I can only use the free version

    never used the paid version,
    but IMHO it checks with his server if the serial is legit everytime you start it.
    If he took down servers, then you cant use the paid version :(

    Honestly guys the use of SETFsb on the 720QM is not worth it after numerous tests bar a slight increase in benchmark test results it did my RAM nothing but slow everything down by running it at different clocks on the same timings.

    You know simply what you need to do and that is upgrade to a QS of the 920XM.

    Even if you got a slight 200mhz increase using setfsb it is nothing to the 1-1.6ghz increase with the 920XM not to mention you can run all 4 cores upto 3.2-3.8 stable.

    The 3200 score I got with 3DMark06 jumped to 5600 with the 920XM. You can also hit 20k on Vantage and compete with the 2630QM.
