Here is the website. You need to donate to get the code.

However proper speeds is not something SetFSB will achieve for you maybe a minor overclock to bring your active cores to nearer 2ghz when all 4 are running flat out. The 720QM is capable of performing perfectly well especially for gaming you do not need anything more than the 720QM unless you intend to use the CPU for intensive tasks like editing/programming/video work. The only games that see results are CPU intensive ones with a lot going on screen i.e Starcraft 2, Civ 5 etc

The best way to achieve better performance is to look at upgrading the CPU. The 840QM is the best upgrade you can get with locked cores that stays at 45watts meaning there should be a minimal increase in heat and power consumption. If you are an experienced user and intend to unlock the cores to consume a large amount of power and produce a large amount of heat you could consider the 920XM but really this is only for people looking to open the gates of hell just to shake the devils hand with no care for the possible problems this could entail.

Ah I see yes someone recently upgraded to a 920XM for Flight Sim X and they said the difference is very noticable even when it is locked at 2.0ghz - 3.2ghz.

Give SetFSB a go and here is a video I have made to guide you through using SetFSB, applying the win 7 timing fix and how to test stability. :)

Yep, that someone was me, and FSX rocks with the 920XM, and I haven´t even clocked The Devil yet, only used "stock" TurboBoost!

The i7 720QM is OK for FSX on moderate settings, but don´t use Asus Twin Turbo, only Intel Turbo, which can get the 720QM up to 2.8 Ghz on one core, and that´s perfect because "The Old Hog" (FSX) doesn´t use HT, and it only loads 2-3 cores.

Another trick: Try disable core 0 in TaskManager when you run FSX, this will help spread the load on other cores.

Don't confuse yourself with Twin Turbo and Intel Turbo as Intel Turbo is always active if you have the CPU set to performance mode it is built into the CPU its not something you install.

Twin Turbo is the option you have to increase your CPU performance by 10% by either selecting this in P4G or by pressing the middle button of the three top left of your keyboard. You will need ATK + P4G installed.

Twin Turbo had a diverse effect on performance however and in my movie I explain briefly why due to a windows 7 timing issue that has recently been fixed by Unclewebb by simply typing an entry into Ms DOS as admin.

Again though I cover everything in my movie, I sound like a cockney wideboy but if you can put up with my voice you will learn all. ;)

When and where will the movie have premiere?

Can you do a Maurice Joseph Micklewhite aka Michael Caine cockney-type?

    ;)
