    squeaking keys on a g55

    I have my g55 since 2 weeks and i have notice a squeaking key. Its mostly the space bar but its annoying me a little bit.

    any way to fix this?

    Not really, I've noticed this on a few models. It should go away with use.

    It could be squeak that will eventually go away or the kind of squeak due to some particle stuck under the key. If it's something like dust, bread crumb or w/e, you could always remove the key to clean, but i advise against trying it. Those laptop keys are rather fragile and easy to break. They also aren't all that easy to put back in place sometimes.

    Most of my G-keyboards have had a squeaky space bar - but it always went away after 3 weeks or so. I'd say just leave it, and it will go away on its own.
