    Hi
My friend was the owner of this laptop and he just bought a G53sx
and gave me this one for 350$
its the bestbuy RX05 now i will keep this for a year or a bit more
I dont play heavy games mostly COD, EVE online, Metin2
I was planning to make a cpu upgrade for him before he sold me this lappy in very mint condition never left desk.

now I am willing to upgrade cpu, ram, HDD ( may add another 330 to raid0) and finaly GPU if possible.

my current budget for the upgrade around 300$
1- was looking at E8435 for aroud 85$ shipped i'v been told its the same as X9100
    2-planning to upgrade to 8GB of ram 2x4gb @ 800mhz for another 85-90$
    3-get a 9 cell exteded battery for 60$
4-the rest for the gpu may able to add 50$ in a week
5-get another hdd same brand to raid0 or wait for a month and get an ssd insted.

what i need is some help if there is better opitions for me or not.

yeah the intel e8435 will work fine it is just a tad hot, so keep it in mind.

8gb is not really needed , maybe use the money on a notebook cooler.

9 cell battery will be great , the 6 cell is pretty weak.

Gpu cant be upgraded, though can be overclocked.

Though there is another guy may try quad core again, but with 150watt adapter, so may get quad core inside, i am waiting for him to test , then i will throw a quad in mine also.

    thanks for reply
so the E8435 will work but much more heat hmm maybe undervolt will solve it as long i dont overclock it and a bit of AS5 and i do have a notebook cooler

may consider to cancel the 8gb ram but the quad core cpu that will rock
is that guy in this forum?
did he make a thread of that test?

another thing the P4G isnt OCing my CPU is there something wrong?
    I am running Win7 64.
