I like the part where you shot air into your G73. I noticed your memory is blue, I wish mine was blue. Must be the 1066MHz set, I want blue damn it.

I had it muted since I'm at work, but 2:07-2:20 is epic. Your Air-Fu is impressive.

Mine are Kingston, including the last stick I put in which was also green. I guess Kingston likes green.

@Josh22: Great video! The last time I used compressed air on my laptop, I got shorted keyboard (I can see some connections burned/browned) thus I can't use some keys anymore.

Is there a proper SOP for using air can on laptops so that it doesn't break it? Like removing battery and AC or letting small electricity or current dissipate first?

The aircan I used before can be used to electronics as it was said in there that the gas they used is non-conductive and highly volatile, but unfortunately, it shorted my keyboard and broke 1 of the fans of my old HP laptop :(

Make sure you don't spray the liquid out by holding it sideways or upside down. I generally turn my computer off completely as well ... but that's more to avoid the fans from burning out than anything else.

I would always recommend taking the battery out and removing AC, then holding the power button for ~10 seconds. 1) This will help give the dust more room to escape and 2) it helps to dissipate an remaining charge/static.

Also, like DCx said, always hold the can upright and don't shake it, either. I think this makes the air so cold that it causes condensation to form on contact.

Warning Bad Idea that WOrks INC.. WARNING

I use Hot water to warm my Cans of Air...

I use 3 cans all warmed up...

It helps to Increase the pressure coming out....

WARNING, not a good ideas for everyone...

Also Note, to You may want to add a Stopper to prvent the Fans from Over spining..

In this Video the fans did not appear to be spining as Short Burts where used..
So no deduction of Rep ....

    Great Video..

Would it even have mattered if the fans did spin or if short bursts weren't used? I mean, its not like the laptop was on and the air was forcing the fans to spin in the opposite direction or something...

hehe...yes my laptop was off and all power was diconnected....so as long as it is off your fans can spin any direction without damage from using the compressed air... :)

i also want to mention that blowing air with your mouth into the vents drops the temperature
as i speak i've done this
on turned on machine and current temperature of 65 idle
when i blowed out some air with my mouth (don't have air can) and eat some dust while blowing the dust the temperature dropped to 60 degrees
but i don't reccomend this LOL (still worked for me wohoo 5 degrees cooler)

Blowing with your is highly advised against. Condensation from your breath is gonna clog and harden the dust particles and they're gonna cling on much harder to your fans. Shouldn't even be an option lol.

LOL @ mitejan, no offense intended, I just enjoyed reading that post :D

Really? aha seems rather extreme from just a quick shot of air, I mean maybe if the temp difference between the breath and surrounding air was huge, but ill go ahead and defer to your expertise on this matter :p lol

EDIT: And to be clear, ive only used can air ;)

actually i kept blowing one more time and i got it decreased to 58 C
i think the only bad thing was here that i should have turned off the laptop as BumbleBoner said about the condensation and open the back door so the dust came out
but i will do that next time for sure :)
i am a working human aircan LOL

EDIT: blowing no.3 made my temperatures go to 56 C (i think that is enought becouse my head is going to blow from blowing air :D )
    so from 65 to 56-57 idle 400/1000 mhz (8-9 C drop)
    why i didn't remembered about this earlier...damn it :)
