    where i can download the recovery disc of the asus G55VW

    hi guys, i have the asus g55vw with a fresh install and i want restore default settings and i lost it when reinstall windows where i can download it? thanks

    You can order one directly from Asus but they charge $50 for one Notebook Recovery Software. You can also try using the recovery partition that is build onto the hard drive which is made to get you back to default settings. Turn off the computer, turn it back on and continually press F9 to get into the recovery console.

    i cant do it pressing f9 because i install a fresh windows 7, and 50$ its a lot for recovery disk. if u know about download link please let me know thanks

    You can just install all the drivers and utilities which will be on the disc provided with your computer. Once you get those on there then it will be pretty much the same as factory settins.

    No you will not with a fresh install but you can then use a third party program to backup your clean install and it's a much nicer state to return to.
