    will sata 6 work in the g73?

    I think the new crucial C300 runs on sata 6 and not sata 3... will it work in a g73 or no?

    It'll work just fine. You'll just be limited to SATA3 speeds.

    what would that be, if they are claiming 350mb read speeds or something around there,,, will it be more like 275 mb

    Well assuming no overhead 6Gb/s = 750MB/s. All SATA versions are backwards compatible with one another and will run at the lower speed between the controller and drive.

    Yes, it runs in the high 200 MB/second range for reads (that is between 260 and 280) for most folks. It won't actually be much faster for reads than some of the other very fast SATA 2 (3 Gb/sec) drives.
