So my question is can win 7 installation overhead the lappy to the point it shuts down.

I've been having problems for couple of months now with force shutdowns.

My idle temps are round 75, load 104

Is it a time for a repaste?

I don't think that win setup can overheat your gpu,and your idile temperature is high, but i think you may have another problem, the shutdown threshold is 115 degrades celsius. No way you rich that high on setup.

actually can you explain more what your problem is
    and maybe post some pictures

ahaa i think you are trying to instal the OS and while installing your lappy shuts down (shuts down how? explain? like if you pulled the plug without baterry?)

EDIT: if it is overheating you will hear very loud noise from the fan ... are you hearing that?

the fan has 3 levels, super low, medium and whirring. (and off).

just to let you know guys, fixed by repasting.

also, removing a thick layer of crap off my exhausts must have helped too. :)
