    Hi everyone,

I just saw this video on youtube

The guy was trying to damage the device so that he can RMA this laptop

He poured 20oz of water but still nothing happened to the motherboard.

    That is interesting

    Have a look everyone

Yeah, But what can they really do? They can't really link his laptop to anything because he only shows the keyboard and screen, not really much to go on from Asus' end :(

    This is not ethical!

If ASUS removes the accidental warranty just because of these exploiters, will it be of any good for the legitimate users???

This is like crashing your old car to a wall and than asking money from the insurance company...

Lol, I'm danwat1234, hear me ROAr! Like they can track me. But I have the only abusive Asus video so far right? Or are there others that I don't know about?

They *won't remove the accidental warranty even if a slue of these videos pop up... It probably really helps bring in the buyers.

    *I=human, that was an opinion.

ASUS and other companies pass the cost of repairs along to their customers. So, as one of ASUS's customers, thank you for making sure the rest of us pay a higher price when we purchase ASUS notebooks.

You are irresponsible. You should run for a seat in Congress...

By the way, what are your plans for the replacement notebook you hope to gain?

    This was too funny.

Sad part is being how the video was made the serial number of the notebook was exposed to the camera multiple times and I would not want to be the user when I try to do a claim if someone reported that... Not only are you out the money, but I assure you they will take legal actions because its rare they can prove damge done by a user on the accidental warrantys so its pure loss for them, but boy when they can.....
