    Hello,

I already asked in another forum on NotebookReview, but without success. Therefore I ask once more in this ASUS forum, hopefully with more success.

I'm a proud owner of an ASUS G71Gx and am satisfied with this notebook, except the display. It is WXGA+ resolution(1440 x 900) glossy. Since I use the notebook in light rooms, the reflection in the screen is annoying. As I know that the G71Gx was also sold with an WUXGA panel, I want to change to a matte LCD with WUXGA(1920 x 1200) resolution. To get a compatible screen, I need the model(for a LG Philips panel it starts with LP171WU1) of the display in an ASUS G71Gx with WUXGA resolution. This can be easily done with SIV(System Information for Windows) or HWiNFO32 or another hardware information tool.
It would also be nice to get some opinions regarding the best matte WUXGA LCD panel for the ASUS G71Gx.

I'd like to hear from You!
