    Is q6600 fit to my c90s?

    If it is, Which one is better for my C90s?

    Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz

    Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 Conroe 2.66GHz

    if you can provide adequate cooling somehow, the Q6600 (the better cpu) should be able to run on your asus

    No Q6600 is not compatible with C90S.

    There are some retailers selling C90S with Q6600, ask them how they got it to work. Q6600 would be better, not much of a leap from the E6600 to the E6700.

    As far as its stated the Q6600 isn't officially supported, so good luck.

    q6600 would bump the 3dmark 06 score by quite a bit though!

    Hell if I could get the Q6600 to run stable, I'd consider it as an upgrade when a new video card comes out.

    did those ram actually let you clock to 2.93ghz?
