I have a Asus Latop Model S96J. As of today, I have encountered an issue with charging the laptop. Upon connection of my charger to my laptop, nothing happens. I have tried moving the connector to multiple positions to ensure a connection but nothing helps. I have confirmed that the charger itself does work and so does the battery on the laptop itself. This is the same charger i have been using for the whole time i have had this laptop and at the standard power current. All of a suddently wont work. Also there has been no damage to the laptop (Dropping) When the laptop does have a charge, all the other components of the laptop work perfectly. The only issue is the process of charging it. I do not know what to do about it. I have looked on the motherboard of the laptop and i dont think there is a way to replace with dc connector. I would hate to have to spend $400 on a new motherboard for the pc on a pc where itself does work. Any suggestions on fixing this issue or idea's on what is causing it. Thanks in advanced

remove the battery power on without battery. if no change remove ALL components. if no sign of life still return to dealer for service. s96s is covered by intel warranty but intel will not deal with end user
