    I've looked everywhere for it here in the Netherlands. They only seem to have the G2.

    Does anybody know if it's (going to be) available in the European market? or maybe it has a different model name (as is the case sometimes)

    In Germany Where I live it's widely available (on online shops). The whole G line!

    Let me clairfy. I did find G1s laptops. Just not the A1 or B1 models, or ones w/dated specs..

    It seems they are named differently in the Netherlands as I suspected. I just wonder if there are any actual differences between the American and European version. So far specs look the same.

    Aha. Well if the specs are the same (CPU, GPU including type of VRAM, HDD etc) you're ok.

    not the links you provided. so far the only one that has the g1s-b1 equivalent (i think) is laptops4u.. but like i mentioned, it's a bit pricey.

    Yep... 2000+EUR is a bit much. Maybe it's the high-end GPU.
