I've looked everywhere for it here in the Netherlands. They only seem to have the G2.
Does anybody know if it's (going to be) available in the European market? or maybe it has a different model name (as is the case sometimes)
Thanks

In Germany Where I live it's widely available (on online shops). The whole G line!
-
Thanks! can you perhaps provide some links? looks like I have to order from Germany then. Holland is so backward in electronics

Okay I actually found G1 variations on Dutch online stores:

but with the old 160 Gb 5400rpm harddrive. The upgraded B1 seems to be unavailable (200 Gb 7200rpm). -
Okay, google is your best friend.

Not sure if this is equivalent to the Asus G1-B1 though?
it also seems ridiculously overpriced. -
I don't know where you looked but it took my 5 seconds to find these:

Let me clairfy. I did find G1s laptops. Just not the A1 or B1 models, or ones w/dated specs..
It seems they are named differently in the Netherlands as I suspected. I just wonder if there are any actual differences between the American and European version. So far specs look the same. -
Aha. Well if the specs are the same (CPU, GPU including type of VRAM, HDD etc) you're ok.
-
thanks for the help anyway -
Yep... 2000+EUR is a bit much. Maybe it's the high-end GPU.
