Thanks for this review! What I really liked is the information about its build quality, where I also would like to ask you in a bit more detail:

    1. What did you say about the hinges? They are made of a zinc alloy? Why would they be terrible?

    2. What is the difference between an aluminum alloy surface (MacBook) and the magnesium alloy surface on the Asus? What are the pros and cons of it?

Really nice review...especially because it is real review, not like most "reviews" of hardware that can be found on YT where someone did hands-on...You could run some benchmark on it to show how it behave :)

Al is a little lighter then Mg but Mg is more durable and therefore you can use smaller amount of material. Al is more rigid than Mg but it comes with a price in damping of vibrations. But this only theory because in real life there are so many additional factors, like admixtures. ;)

Propps on a very tasteful video. Looks like you put time into the review and it shows with the finished product.

Hmm a VM (630M) model, not a VZ (650M) model.

    If only the 650M packed DDR5 @_@

Can you record the temps while running 3DMark Vantage and 3DMark 11? Hopefully this will give us a baseline temps for the N56 series
