    Dear all,

I'm trying to upgrade an Asus G2.
By default, it came in with 2GB of RAM, so I want to upgrade to 4GB (2x2GB)
but then I only found 1 memory slot in the bottom with 1x1GB installed.
I wonder where I can find the 2nd memory slot in this notebook?

    Regards,

    Hendrik

likely it is under the key board, search the forum for a take apart of your model number for directions on how to do remove this

Before you go and buy a 4GB upgrade kit, please realize that 32b Vista does NOT recognize the full 4GB ram and your system will potentially run more slowly with 4GB that with 3GB. This is well established and discussed around here over the past 6-9 months.

Search for relevant memory threads if you are unclear on the above.
