i have installed my new keyboard (going from qwerty to azerty). everything went wel but the only problem i have now is that when i type the number in the top row i get the symbols and not the numbers; i have to hold shift to get numbers. i know this is normal but with my previous keyboard it typed numbers without holding shift. and if i kept shift down it gave me symbols. is there a way to revrt this again

Probably, something wrong with the connection, just try to disassemble the wire and install the keyboard again.
    Cheers

i solved the flex by puting adhesive tape beneath it .

no my keyboard works great . the problem is :
old keyboard :without shift i had numbers and with shift i have symbols
new keyboard : without shift symbols with shift numbers

but the other methode is much more easy .

You sure this isn't just the default configuration for 'azerty' keyboards? Also, how did you relearn your typing skills?!

Have you used the Intel Keyboard Change Utility found on their download page for S96J drivers?
