:( DISABLE FN key on ASUS a6r winxp

My Asus came with Vista OS, i installed XP, and since that, the FN key is allways on just like if i was pressing it but i am not, and theres is nothing wrong with the key sensor also, someway the key is working and the keyboard because of that wont work properly like the U, I, O, P etc. keys just work with no numbers when i press the FN key and it shouldent work this way. I already went to regional settings in control panel and everything is ok, can you please help me disabling the FN key on my ASUS A6R Series with WinXp.

My friend had a zepto that did the same..
Its was something with numlock

Usually, that is a function that has to do with the Num Lock key as mentioned previously. I had a similar problem on one of my PCs and I was able to "unlock" it by hitting Ctrl + Fn + Num Lock.
