So I just found this cool site.

You upload a pic and in the upload process you have to make a selection box and then tell the server the real life size of that box in length & width. (use a ruler in real life to know the measurements)

Then anybody that views an image from this site enters there monitor size (diagonal) and it will scale it to the real life size on your screen.

I just tested it on my G50V with a 15.4" screen and it worked perfectly.

Somebody was saying the NC10 has a bigger keyboard than the 1000H and its not true, so now its easy to see the real life size of things. They really kill the quality of the image though :(

So here is the link: http://pective.com/pic/eee-1000h-keyboard

I have to take pictures of some other stuff now, great concept I hope somebody like google picks it up (picasa) and improves it.

Good idea, but since they do not ask if it is a 4:3, 16:10, or 16:9 diagonal screen there is no way to guarantee the image is life-size. Well, maybe there is...assuming the site uses javascript to get the screen pixels...

    Hmmm, interesting find.

Im home now I use a 37" 16:9 screen at home. That should be a good test to see how good this works :p

    Edit: Verdict... Works!

It looked smaller so for a second I thought it did not work... so I took my EEE and held it up to the screen and sure enough its a perfect match.

Im assuming between screen size and resolution it knows how much to scale the image to make it accurate no matter the aspect ratio or even the pixel pitch witch if anything is what I thought would throw it off.
