Anyone know of a laptop with a greater than 1366x768 resolution in the 13/14 inch range? I know the envy 14 had a higher res. screen, but I was looking for a more ... pocket-book friendly laptop. And ... envy laptops seem so trendy, like macs, and I'd kinda like to avoid looking like that.

I am really tempted, I just got a decent full HD tv. Do you plan to use it extensively sans external display? HULU here we come!
Once my ASUS is sorted out it is gone, and I want to replace my Dell. Great OP question, I am heading for the SOny Forum. Good luck with whatever you buy.

    13" FHD is plain crazy...

    Although I have 20/20 vision, WSXGA+ (1680 x 1050) for 15.4" and WXGA+ (1440 x 900) for 14.1" are the upper limits for long-time usage for me.

Good point, I had to get new glasses just to use the 17 inch asus at native resolution. But did U see the specs on that sony... I drooled on my keyboard. I really never considered Sony machines till I read the OP and Binged the info. plus no Vbios updates should be needed I would guess.

Wow $4700 for that laptop :-O

Yes 1080p res on a 13" screen is awesome - yet that aint worth the money IMO....
