So, I have my Ebook reader and Iphone for all those cool little Amazon books you want to read once a week.
BUT for more serious PDF scienctific texts, where people usually recommend an iPad tablet, could this be comfortably used ?

Can you sit down with it and enjoy reading a PDF without your eyes wanting to shut down ?

I just don't want to get both an Ipad AND a laptop like the Prime.

All of my documents and work are on my laptop, I just can't use mine (TN LOW RES) for very long if I am reading on it.
I thought if this new ASUS with IPS screen and FHD res is light enough and easy on the eyes, I'd pull the trigger on it !

    Opinions from PRIME owners ?

Yes. I am an owner of UX32VD with IPS FullHD display and can confirm it is really good for reading PDFs. Matte finish makes it somewhat better than Ipad, IMHO.

But it would be PERFECT if the lid could be open wider, or turned over like on Lenovo x230t - then you could rotate the PDF by 90 degrees, and read the screen in portrait mode.
