    Aaaah lol man i get a LITTLE less performance with this driver (I came from the 169.28 one ;))

    Same clock:
    169.28 => 4802 3DMARKS (3dmark06)
    147.49 => 4785 3DMARKS (3dmark06)

    Just experienced a moderate increase in the 3DMark06 score from my 8400M G, though not as high increase as some of you with the 8600 GPUs.

    8400M G Results:

    3DMark06
    156.15 - 1082
    167.49 - 1137 (5% increase)

    GPU Temps Idle/Load
    156.15 - 74/90
    167.49 - 62/80 (~13% decrease)

    Bearing in mind my GPU temps are skewed due to the cold winter in the UK, so I don't know if the real temps have improved or not. Overall the new 167.49 drivers only gave a small incremental increase in my 3DMark score, but the story my prove to be different when playing an actual game rather than synthetic benchmarks.

    Either way these drivers do appear to give a general performance increase but it just depends which previous drivers you have upgraded from.

    Boo! With these drivers I lost 60 points in 3dmark06 compared to 169.04 and 169.09 drivers!

    They're specified for ASUS laptops.
    I install them on my G1S , got 4003 at 3Dmark06, with stock clock:43 points more thant the last 169.XX .
    They're running perfectly , smooth , no more lags and faster vista opening&stabilization.

    I have the standard asus g1s with a 8600gt. I went from 169.04 to these drivers. For some reason I lost a bunch of resolution settings options. For example on the Display Settings I dont have resolutions like 1280x800 or 1440x900 anymore.

    Anyone know what could be causing this and a possible fix?

    Indeed a better driver than 169.04. Framerate has slightly improved, 2-3°C dropped. Thanks Sherman90.

    Everytime I download and install driver from laptopvideo2go, my Blu-Ray software player always break. I got an error message that said: "Create overlay failed" from WinDVD and "Incompatible Graphics Driver" from PowerDVD.

    I think this is because using the modified .ini file from laptopvideo2go breaks the WHQL stamp for the drivers and Blu-Ray playback requires this.

    Try installing these drivers without the modified .ini
