    Hello everyone.
Im trying to install 169.25 WHQL nVidia Forceware from the nVidia web-site on my G1S with a GeForce 8600m GT and the installshield tells me that no compatible hardware can be found when i launch the setup. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Probably the driver is intended for desktops? You might want to check laptopvideo2go.com

    Yes, go to laptopvideo2go.com.

    I am using 169.28.

I tried using 167.49, which is meant for asus laptops, but my video playback stutters (divx and stuff). I dont have that problem with 169.28. I am also able to OC the driver with ntune.

haha agreed, happened to me too....tried several laptop video drivers (the newer ones) and caused nothing but trouble, the desktop ones with .INF is somewhat much more stable

*patpat* I know...happened to me too , apparently I found the link via their news sections about new drivers coming out... the sidebar with all the available downloads doesn't show 169.28 anywhere >< but yeah, good luck with the drivers, 169.28 is pretty nice (and O/C-able?) , dun forget the INF file (replace the extracted one)!
