    Hi everybody,

My brother needs a 17" notebook and has a budget of about 1,400. I rather he gets an Asus and hes is considering the Z84J. Its rather old i guess... are there any other asus notebooks to consider??? he uses Autocad since he is studying architecture.

Edit -> are cad programs cpu or gpu intensive? also how good is the geforce 7700 from the z84j?

I think the A7 is 17''. You should be able to get fairly decent specs for $1400. Check on newegg to see what's available.
