    Hi,
G1s owner here. I just installed Nvidia driver 177.92 with the latest PhysX driver. When I was still on 175.19 I could use the sleep mode trick to eliminate stuttering 3D applications but since I use 177.92 the sleep mode no longer works (I can go to sleep mode but the stutter does not disappear). Does anyone else experience the same problem here? Thanks

Some of the laptopvideo2go drivers do not work with all notebook functionality. It really is just trial and error with modded desktop drivers.

OK, I went back to 175.19 and the problem was solved. Any G1S user experience the same problem might just want to refer back to the previous driver.

Now I am curious... if heat is such a serious issue for G1S, how many of you actually have the back lid of the laptop uncovered or drilled ?

Not to mention that the sleep trick is not really "documented & supported functionality". :p

You can actually purchase a spare CPU door panel from estore for $6 and mod it as much as you like. Totally worth it if you intend to sell your notebook later or worry about warranty issues.
