    186.03 won't install on G51VX-RX05

    Title says it all. Errors out saying it can't find appropriate hardware - just as if you were trying to install a desktop driver on a notebook.

    And No, I'm not an idiot: I downloaded the correct 200M series (mobile) driver.

    Anyone else figure it out? My guess is that whatever value the GPU BIOS is returning when queried by the driver is out of whack.

    Right now I'm downloading the LV2Go version of 186.03. Curiously, the driver from Nvidia's site did *not* include a nv_disp.inf. Perhaps that's the problem?

    Yes you are. There is a .zip folder called "additional infs" inside the setup directory that contains the inf's you need to properly load the correct driver for your GPU.
