Just wondering what to do , should I upgrade to 2g 667 ram or just be happy with the 1 gig. Will you even notice any real difference between the two?

it really depends on what you do with your computer.....if you play graphics intensive games or do a lot of video editing/multimedia work, it might be worth it.

It really depends on what you are doing with the laptop. For most people the upgrade is not necessary...as you wont notice the difference...unlike say going from 512 to 1Gb...but if you do heavy photoshop editing, etc then yes the upgrade is a good choice. There have been some good articles writen on the effects of increases to RAM, and how much of an improvement you should expect....a quick google will find them.

Get the 2Gb option if you can afford it. Never hurts to have more ram. More ram will make the system run better with intensive programs like games, photoshop, audio/video editing.

I think you'd notice a difference if you're going to be working that thing. If you're just using it to surf and play some mid level games, than it's prob. overkill. Anything that requires some serious system resources (dev tools, video editing, high end gaming) will be able to take advantage of the extra RAM and pay dividends.

I was planning on it for my W3j if it came w/ 1 x1GB even though I didn't really "need' it.

EDIT: LOL - that was fast everyone!!
