Ok, How do i plug in headphones and speakers at the same time so audio will go through both of them? It has 3 input ports a headphone microphone and 1 that looks like a line-in but the only sound will come out of the headphone jack.

It says this laptop has EAX 4.0

I can go into the creative software on the computer and ajust things but how do i enable the "3d Surround sound" Eax 4.0 technology in games?

The easiest way to connect your headphones and the speakers at the same time is by using a 3.5mm audio jack splitter. These can be purchased very cheaply on ebay.

IRCC, the game itself must support the "3d surround sound" technology. If it is, make sure it is enables in your audio options settings in-game.

I believe you need something like this

    The middle adaptor

    For ur second Q?

I have the G50V, and the only way i was able to get 5.1 surround sound is:

1- Connect ur lappy to HD TV using HDMI
2- In some TVs you have a O/P optical cable, connect an optical cable to you home theater
3- Done, Enjoy 5.1 (triied in games + UP movie)

I hope that answered ur question

Try using Creative Alchemy software in the notebook, it mentions something regarding EAX hardware sounds in games.

Quite sure the line and mic ports are input only. I think the "Y" splitter is your best bet. Keep in mind you probably will loose some volume by using the splitter but it works.

    edit-

    found a solution

I have my notebook hooked up via hdmi to my dell ultrasharp, this monitor has an audio out jak on the abck and since hdmi caries audio i plugged the speakers into the jack on the monitor and switched th sound to come out through HDMI via the realtek audio manager. Only issue now is Im getting some fuzz sound, its not loud but audioable in a quiet enviroment, from the speakers when no sound is coming through them.. I thought HDMI was supposed to carey lostless audio!!!???
