For those of you who have installed Vista, what is the new battery life approx? comparable hopefully?

Also, It is my understanding that going to vista via the driver cd+ upgrade vista cd is an "upgrade" and not a reformatting? What I mean is that when I put vista on am I going to lose all my information/programs on there now??

    thanks

I haven't upgraded (I see no reason to since I don't gain any functionality I don't already have) but I know for sure that the upgrade CD preserves your documents and programs.

    XP - I get around 2.5 hours
Vista - Around 2.3 hours, 10 minutes off.
