2 x W2v's from national reviews available - Special Package Offer to NBR Members.

Hey Guys,

I figured I'd offer this up to some people in the forum before anyone else. We have two W2v's that just came back from short reviews (1 here at NBR and 1 from LAPTOP Mag). Usually we offer these to employees, but at this time everyone seems to have a pretty new system. These are basically brand new units that were reviewed for a week or so by excellent sources and are in perfect condition, their bags are just opened. If you want one, drop me an email. I'm going to offer two things valued at about $250 with both of the units.

1. PROPortable aluminum 17" notebook briefcase (as spotted on the forum before) ~$150.00

2 Microsoft's new Remote Keyboard... This is my new favorite toy - it's a wireless keyboard, mouse and MCE remote control... Great addition to the W2 or any MCE machine... especially if you hook your W2 up to a big screen tv. ~$100.00

*EDIT* I may not have been clear since I already got a dozen emails about it..... These are regular price, with the extras. Asus randomly tests some of these units with more hours than these two reviewers did. I'll personally stand by both of these units as aside from open accessory bags, the package is in perfect condition.

 

Apparently I didn't ask everyone here - One of our techs noticed the posted and called to say I never asked him. The LAPTOP mag unit is going to him. So, I guess I've got the unit that Andrew used for the W2 review he's launching on Monday.

 

rats, and I thought I would get to keep the W2

oh well, i have too many laptops anyway so might as well go to somebody that needs it more. i'll vouch for this machine, it's awesome! And if it had a wireless keyboard I could browse the forums while sitting on the couch with the W2v sat on the tv-stand.

My review will be up on Monday. My favorite feature about this laptop? I could actually crank up the speaker volume so loud it'd hurt my ears -- and the neighbors.

Maybe an autographed W2v would be even better... haha... hey if someone wanted it and a proof of authenticity they can say they've got the unit that was reviewed at NBR.

 

So this is full price for something that have already been used, if I understand correctly?

 

That's correct - that's why I'm offering $250 in extras.... and if you qualify for the NBR discount, you could get that on top of this as well, of course.

Haha... I wouldn't need your soul.... I think a couple more of these are going to be coming back from reviews at some point soon, so I may have some more to offer. Sort of sucks when Asus won't even send out their own units for reviews.
