    260m, 280m compatible with Asus 50vt?

    I've seen the asus 50vt modded with 260m, but has any1 tried installing the 280m?

    Asus uses a proprietary GPU solution rather than standard MXM. So no GTX 280M would work unless Asus releases one in another laptop.

    With the 260m heat issues you want to install a 280m? Thats suicide.

    As Lethal said, even if it was possible you would only be able to game for a few minutes before it packs up from heat :(
