I'm thinking about upgrading my W3J, but don't want to go lifting off the keyboard to upgrade the RAM, so I'm thinking of just getting 1x2GB of DDR2 667 (for a total of 2.5GB of RAM).
Anyone have any problems using a 2GB stick of RAM in the W3J? Any particular brands to avoid?
Thanks.

Anyone have any input on this?

Their shouldn't be any problems, ( http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=122997&highlight=w3j) there have been a few threads about this previously, check the W3J owner's lounge and a thread about a guy who tested if 4 GB ram would work in a W3J. (Note: only supports up to 3.2 GB thanks to 32 bit issues)
Meh, I don't have any real brands to avoid, just make sure to test your ram after you get it with memtest. ( http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=142746) -
Anyway, I use Corsair 2 gb ram sticks, and they work without any problems, aside from the 2.87 gb limitation in W3J's bios/chipset, whatever. -
Yeah, sorry I searched through the first few pages of search to find the thread, then got lazy and just said somebody did it. ;(

Also look in the Hot ram deals thread fro great prices on ram(most if not all brands of memory should work).
