I Definitely got the Right memory.
I realize many get it wrong. I did Not.
Installed easily (researched that too) but my machine is Black Screen.
CT25664BC1339 is correct and installed by many:
Newegg.com - Crucial 2GB 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Laptop Memory Model CT25664BC1339
'Feedback' tab.
1. "Dropped into my ASUS 1015pn without issue."
2. "Installed in Asus EEE PC 1015 PN and worked right out of the box. Clear performance upgrade"
3. "plug-and-play in ASUS 1015PN. just dropped it in and bios posted on first boot. Been running XP pro for 2 straight days with no problems"
4. "Perfect match for Asus 1015PN netbook. Took barely a minute to replace the 1 GB SODIMM with this and the system accepted it instantly"
5. "I just installed this onto my 1015PN netbook. It works flawlessly and made it much efficient and fast."
6. "Worked great in my ASUS 1015PN. Certainly made a difference in speed"
Now what? Bought on ebay, Not Newegg. But was in BNIB Retail package.
Tell him it was DOA?
Put back 1gb original and it works fine.

Make sure it is seated correctly. Many times ram may look like it is in correctly, but is not seated completely. That would give you the symptoms your seeing.
Plus, depending on where you bought it, there is a lot of ram fraud on ebay. So if it is in correctly, contact the seller and let them know. Did you use paypal? What are the return policy of the seller? -
Fit like a glove-snapped in.
But I'll try a Third time. thx

The guy has 99.2% Positive.
100% on memory, including many recent positives. His last on the Identical item.
His negs in the last year, just 2 in 284 on 2 unlocked cell phones. No memory negs. -
It sounds like from the posted feedback, they have decent record, so again, check that it is seated correctly.I would remove it, replace it in the slots, and make sure it feels and sounds like it is seated correctly. Make sure you don't touch any part of the ram except the edges, as static energy could render it useless. Use a wrist strap when you put it in, and you can get ram seaters from most any computer store. Static electricity can kill ram (and drives, or other components).
If it doesn't work again, I would contact seller and return it. -
Strike 3.
Memory fits/snaps perfectly but doesn't work
DOA.

I know what the problem is, assuming the pictures in that ebay listing are correct, the ram stick can only have 4 MEMORY CHIPS on either side (8 total) while that looks to have 8 on just one side.
You need this: 2GB, 204-pin SODIMM, DDR3 PC3-10600 upgrades for ASUS Eee PC 1015PN Netbook, CT1539081 from Crucial.com
I bought that exact one, and it works fine.
2gb Memory doesn't work on Asus 1015pn
