hey guys I just bought an Asus G73jh RoG and I decided to bench it, I put the 12.1's on it from ATI and after I benched it my score was pretty high, I was looking at the base line scores on notebook check:

Mobile Graphics Cards - Benchmark List - Notebookcheck.net Tech

my score came out to be with 12.1 5870m btw

    3DMark Score P8770 3DMarks
    Graphics Score 8330
    CPU Score 10422

Its not overclocked just the turbo is on for the cpu no GPU overclock yet, so I was wondering why its so high, When I benched with the 11.12 drivers my P score was 8846, is this because of the CPU? i7 720QM, I am def not complaining thats for sure .. but its pretty much as powerful as the GTX 470m ? at least in benchmarks that is ...

I wonder how it would do with a little overclocking .. anyways its a nice laptop I was playing battlefield 3 on it last night with the old drivers everything was set to high and medium AA 4x AF, never played with the settings much more then that, my last laptop was a crappy HP DV6 6650M P960 AMD quad, had nothing but problems with it playing bf3, crashing freezing namely ...happy I got this laptop even tho its a bit older of an model
