I'm thinking about buying a 2gb so I can get this mythical performance boost and I've heard that some ram does not work with the G1s so those who do have it working, what kind of ram is it?

I thought the mythical performance boost that comes with 3gb has been disproved.

I put a 2gig Transend ddr2 667 (from Newegg) and it works just fine with 3 gig and Vista. Boot time and app launch just slightly faster, No change to Vista score. It does FEEL slightly faster, a second here and there. Will test a couple of games this weekend. Mine is a 2Gs btw
