Does anyone know if the C90s can support the new e8400 wolfdale processors?

Its a core 2 duo and its lga 775 slot. It should technically accept it.

    Anyone know?

I might buy one of new egg to try it out.

No, it's a 945 chipsets, thus it only supports the LGA 775 cpus up to a 1066 SB, and it does not take the quad cores

The 1333Mhz FSB is not supported by the C90S's 945GM chipset and will therefore not support the new processors.

Sorry JCMS, I think we posted at the same time.

The C90p should provide 45nm support. We might be able to do motherboard swaps to upgrade a C90s to C90p but this is most definitely unconfirmed.
