My question is .....Didnt think of this until now but i had to remove the memory, boards, etc. that all bein done ,will i lose all my information when powered on again? Will everything be reset to factory settings? Im praying this answer will be no .....

No data will be lost, since it is stored on the HDD which is not affected by removal / power supply interruptions etc.

If you removed the heatsink though, one thing you did lose is warranty. :) But that's nothing compared to all your data ;)

You put them back the same way you took them out. Insert them at an angle and push it down until the clips click and are secured.

Sorry to bump the thread, but I was wondering if you could tell me what type of DC jack i need to order in a way to replace it. ( If you have a reference number or a site i could visit would be top notch!)
    Thanks a lot
