    theres been a new crop of 500G HD's and Im wondering has anyone put in the
    Seagate Momentus 500GB 5400rpm SATA 8MB Cache 2.5" Laptop HDD in their G2?? or any other Asus laptop??

    Any probs??

    No problems at all. I installed a 500gb Samsung 2.5" SATA hard drive on my U6V-A1 without any issues. It will work on any Asus laptop that uses a SATA interface (it will also be compatible with your G2 :))
