Does anyone have strong feelings about getting a 7200 RPM HD for a g1 over the default 5400 PRM?

    What are the advantages, disadvantages?

And.. I've noticed a few sites let you customize the g1 a little by swapping in a 7200 Seagate HD. Does this Void the Asus global Warrenty?

    thanks!

Please see the numerous threads on the matter in the Hardware Components and Aftermarket Upgrades forum. I have merged several threads on the matter into one large one as well.

The 7200rpm hdd is barely faster than the included 5400rpm one. IMO it's not worth it. However I don't think it will void your warranty.
