Well if you are going to always wait for new technology you'll be waiting forever because there is always a new model on the horizon.

Really when purchasing a laptop you should just ask whether whether the laptop can perform to your needs, is within your budget and is available for purchase when you need it.

So if the UL80VT is enough for your needs then get it. If you can afford to wait until september for the U35/45 then i would recommend going with one of those if your budget can afford it. I think the ~$100 or so to go from the UL80VT to U45JC is well worth it, although be aware that you'll also be compromising for the lower battery life of the U45JC to gain CPU performance over the UL80VT.

    Yes, I know that.

But i think is better wait for this model, because I have to import any notebook I want.

And my first post I dont read about 35/45jc models. And now I know the battery life is very similar to the 80VT.

So I think the best choise is wait for thos models.

Now I'm reading the 35/45 post for know what is the diffirence btw this modells.

    thanks.

PS: Sorry for my english, I'm from SouthAmerica and my second league is not the best, I learn only when I travel to the US.

The U35JC/U45JC and UL80JT are out, so I would definitely go for those. the U35JC/U45JC have a regular i3 370 processor, while the UL80JT has an Underclocked i3 330um. Both get quite amazing battery life (roughly 10 hours). I would wait a few more days for more reviews to come out, but overall I have seen that people are quite happy with them!

    Good luck on your purchase!!

P.S. I am looking into the same models. I was first SET on the UL50VT (which I bought for my sister) then I saw the UL80JT and was 99% going to purchase that.. but I think I am going to get the U45JC now, after a LOT of research and because I want to run CAD software and the U45JC has a better processor. Again, keep researching and good luck!
